Also my doctor had me take a diabetes program at the local hospital which made all the difference in how I look at the disease. It is not as bad as it sounds, especially if you follow the diet reasonably well and exercise - makes a big difference in managing/coping with the problem. The archives is a great resource. I did remember it well > enough to look in the archives: http://mejac.palo-alto.ca.us/leica-users/v18/msg05928.html This makes me smile. I'm sitting here on a gloomy Saturday night, having just taught myself to use a finger-prick glucometer (blood glucose tester) so that I can manage the diabetes pills that my doctor has just prescribed for me, and life looks dark and dreary. I put hundreds of hours of my time into building the LUG archive mechanism and its search capability, and it delights me beyond measure to see it actually being useful. I want to thank each and every member of the LUG for being here. Except maybe Stuart Philips, and Mike who works for Deloitte and Touche. Y'all be nice.
