Whether it is a digital back for the current R body, I don't know. But the idea is that the R lenses will be on one end, and digital-something on the other. I know we've heard the rumors about the digital compatibility for the M already, and that the camera doesn't have the electronic capability to be able to handle digital, at least not as it's configured now. But as for the R, I think we can count on something as they are in the R&D on it. But you know it takes a while to get from R&D to P. Patience, patience.
