When you operate the camera without film, it doesn't exactly default to 100 ISO. It only flashes 100 to show you that you have no film in the camera, telling you that it doesn't really know what you're trying to shoot. Take some test shots and see how it works before you're under pressure--like, for the three-year-olds' birthday parties! ;-) Kit - -----Original Message----- From: owner-leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us [mailto:owner-leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us]On Behalf Of Ernest Nitka Sent: Saturday, March 08, 2003 2:46 PM To: leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us Subject: Re: [Leica] Help on Using flash Sf 20 Rolfe - I just now figured out what my problem is..... You have to have film in the camera - you can't test it without film. Once I took the bold step of actually putting film in it did fine - the only time that it said there was NOT enough exposure the distance was in fact greater than the rec. distance. ernie On Saturday, March 8, 2003, at 04:24 PM, Rolfe Tessem wrote: > Ernest Nitka wrote: >> I have an M7 with the SF 20 flash unit - I 'm not sure it's working >> or that I know what I'm doing.
