Actually, I shot two frames, one closer up and this one. I thought I would like the other better, but when I studied the scans, this turned out to be my favorite. I used Photoshop's sepia action, and when it was finished, I lowered the opacity of the sepia layer so it mixed with the lower color layer, so there's just a hint of color there. http://www.sonc.com/natchez_fog.htm I have recently been working to preserve a collection of antique steamboat pictures at the Cammie G. Henry Research Center, and I thought this fit right in with the style. If you're interested in the pictures from the Dellmon collection, you can see them here. http://www.nsula.edu/watson_library/steamers/ Regards, Sonny http://www.sonc.com - ----- Original Message ----- From: "Adam Bridge" <abridge@mac.com> To: <leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us> Sent: Sunday, March 09, 2003 2:36 PM Subject: Re: [Leica] Steamboat Natchez in the fog > On 3/9/03 (SonC) Sonny Carter wrote: > > >Anyhow here's my best frame. > > > >http://www.sonc.com/natchez_fog.htm > > > > Absolutely WONDERFUL. > > Could you share what you learned as you worked this?
