Subject: Re: [Leica] cable release for 14188 shoulder stock

Yes there was a mechanical release for the SL/2, an electric release
for the SL/2 Mots, an electric release motor/winder equipped R3 and an
electric release for R4+ series. With the motor/winder cameras it may
be worthwhile tracking down the correct release switch but for a
mechanical release just use a regular one and a bit of rubber tubing
from a hardware store to hold it in place. That is what I did with my
400 when I used it on an SL2 or a Visoed M.

mechanical ????? (maybe Doug Herr knows?)
SL/2 Mot 14189
R3 with M/W 14275
R4/5/E/6/7/8 with M/W	14237, now 14254
