SLRs you just see it on the groundglass and take the picture. Focusing is too easy you don't think at all and the groundglass gives you a surreal view of the world. Closer to what you get if you are one of the wide open shooters. Rangefinder you have to ignore the viewfinder because everything is in focus and take focus samples on what and where you want in focus and then plan it around there- High speed Trigonometry. It's brain work.
