Or in any arable region. Vegetables may be our source, but Sushi can
still be our sustenance. Or pickled herring or very large raw beach
oysters, the highest forms of the culinary experience.
I'm still working on the perfect Vodka/Herring/Tyrkisk Peber
Aperitif. When that monumental task is done (and I'm pretty close; a
lot of trials involved!), I will go down to the market, get a dozen
super-sized beach oysters, shuck them, anoint them in a little bit of
lemon, and eat them with the perfect aperitif.
Heaven will be mine. Maybe some dulse on the side, just for the
vegetable content.
