...and I am totally with you too. I bought a 0.58 M6 specifically with 
the idea of being able to dispense with the external finder for the 24mm 
lens, and while it works in theory, in practice I found myself wasting 
time looking around the viewfinder and missing out on many of the 
benefits of a Leica M in the process. So I sold the 0.58 and stuck with 
the external finder.
