I had opportunities to buy M6s before that but I never cared for the two diode light balancing system. The shutter dial is neither a plus or a minus for me. I have become fond of the TTL flash and, though I seldom use it, I would have a hard time giving it up. I will always have at least one TTL to hand for that reason. M6s and TTLs are very cheap right now what with the market flooded with M7 trade-ins and ones people are selling to raise the scratch to get an MP. Look for a newish cosmetically used one and you should be able to get it for around a $1000US. Maybe even under if you are lucky.
