R wides in general are not up to the standard set by the recent ASPH M
lenses, except for the 19mm Elmarit-R and the new 21-35 zoom.  The 24mm
Elmarit-R is based on a Minolta lens.

Among current R lenses 50mm and longer, the only lens that might not be the
best of its type is the 80mm Summilux-R.
