For whatever it's worth - and I know that I am but a single user - I've
been using the same SS for about four years now with only the most minor
problems. (I know, this means I am due for a major disaster. ;-))

But Ted, how do you *really* feel about it? :-)

It is sad to see how far Polaroid has gone off track. I'm sure Dr. Land
is 
turning over, etc. IMHO, the best products that Polaroid has ever
produced 
were made when Dr. Land was still running the company. Polaroid Type 55,

for example.

FWIW, I have a Nikon 4000, and it has its own problems, namely extremely

narrow depth of focus. It is really, really hard to get the edges of the

film completely sharp. Normally, this doesn't matter, but it is a pain
in 
the ass nonetheless.
