Well, my alarm clock is always off by about 15 minutes, regardless of how
many times I set it. So I always look at the clock and say, "oh, nice,
fifteen more minutes of shut-eye!"

No,  there are some time zones that are off the adjacent ones by
half an hour (30 minutes) and there are some off by a quarter of
an hour (15 minutes).

I don't know of any that are off by a FEW minutes.
