From the frame or so that is developed you can adjust your development time accordingly. This is really best used when you are off on your exposure in the 1/2 to 1/3 stop range. You know, you have just shot twenty rolls in the studio and before you process the balance you want to know if you read your Polaroid's and light meter correctly. Most labs charge almost as much for a snip test as they do a roll, so why not test a whole roll?
