Now I know I'm looking at a possible collector leica, so I set the slow shutter speed dial and tripped the shutter and sure enough it went zzzzzzz click!<<<< Hi Folks, Sorry this as an open post but I received a couple questions about my comment at setting the "slow shutter speed dial" on what I thought was an old Leica A. However, with camera in hand there isn't a slow shutter speed dial so it's my error and what I meant to say was.... "I set a slow shutter speed on the dial." The serial number is 5 digits, Leica ll 94020. And yes I did pay $50.00 for it and it did cost $535.00 to have it made like new in the late '70's I believe. I trust this answers the question re. setting the slow shutter speed dial.
