So, an improved version of the Cf I suppose. The "E" means that it has electronic contacts that are compatible with the electronic bodies such as the 203. They are otherwise CFi lenses. Hope that helps. Any differences between older and newer lenses (i.e., CF vs CFi and CFE?) Hasselblad.com's faq says the newer lenses are sharper - I would bet the older lenses are just fine for my doodlings.. Any reason to get a newer 500 body or they really all just very nicely made light tight boxes? thanks, Eric (eric_korenman@hotmail.com) - ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jerry Lehrer" <jerryleh@pacbell.net> To: <leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us> Sent: Saturday, June 07, 2003 5:32 PM Subject: Re: [Leica] OT: help for first time Hassie buyer? > Eric > > Don't get anything less than a 500 CM, with a T* lens, to start. > > Since this is a Leica group, I will entertain further discussion > off-list to spare irritating our more sensitive members. :-) > > Jerry > > korenman wrote: > > > Hey all- > > > > Love my M7 and the LUG, but I am thinking of buying a used Hassleblad 500 > > series camera, > > Any good sites out there for first time buyers?
