Hey Gerry,

What sort of weather do you have? This is just a sunny day and I waited till
the sun is setting. That is how I get nearly all my shots.....just after
sunset. The little girl was shot in the dark, hence the 1600 (or 3200) ASA.

But you are from England?!!!  It is I who envy you the soft light that you have
most of the time.....but only when taking pictures, of course. Other times I
prefer a bit of sun.

I think I really like this digital lurk. Saves a lot of time scanning and
correcting colour. I have found, too, that to get a big enlargement, I really
only need to add grain or noise as a last step and the "digital" look is
converted into an analogue look. I'm becoming a convert.

By the way, I have visited your site and absolutely love your personal work.
You seem to have an ability to pull an image out of the most mundane
situations. Very nice.
