Tim, Obviously, you have never done ANY model portfolio work, or simply been a professional studio photographer. I've many times been asked (when I owned a studio, and did a lot of model portfolio work) to do shoots about things that weren't my "forte"...or I just happened to have an idea for a shoot, and decided I wanted to do it...and again, it had not a thing to do with my "preference" for anything like I was photographing. If I take pictures of motorcycles, does that mean I am into motorcycles? Why else would I want to do it, by your "logic"? One of my photographers, who WAS a very close friend of mine, did a LOT of bondage type of photographs with his models (a lot of whom were strippers, but mind you, he wasn't into strippers, he just happened to photograph a few, and because he did it well, and they liked his work, his name got around in that circle). And I KNOW for a fact, he was not into that. Ever think that the woman may be the one "into" that? And anyway, bondage is not illegal as far as I know...unless someone does it to you forcefully. Anyway, what YOU consider art, someone else may not, and what someone else considers "art" or "fun to photograph" doesn't mean YOU have to understand it. If you photograph children, does that make you a pedophile? Austin - -- To unsubscribe, see http://mejac.palo-alto.ca.us/leica-users/unsub.html
