Buzz- Who says it is no longer chic to idolize H.C.B.! I continue to enjoy
his images and I am inspired by the simplicity. For those of us who work as
photographers we have a habit of going on assignments with bags full of
bodies and lenses along with flash units and other accessories. He traveled
the world with a leica and a couple of lenses. I remember a few years ago
showing up in Toronto at the CBC Broadcast Centre to shoot for the New York
Times with a Leica M6 and a couple of lenses. The first question by the CBC
producers was where is your equipment. The first question by the NY Times
was where is all the film after I sent them two rolls. After editing a
number of selections with one used on page four of the International Page.
HCB keep on going! And I look forward to looking at his new book.
