Anybody who has had any training with guns understands this maxim: Always assume when you pick up a weapon that a round is chambered, the hammer is cocked, and the safety is off unless you have personally verified otherwise. This includes times when you have put the weapon down to answer the phone or whatever. Accidental shootings? Yeah, just like the guy in W. Texas who committed suicide by shooting himself in the back five or six times with a bolt action rifle? :) Don dorysrus@mindspring.com - -----Original Message----- From: owner-leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us [mailto:owner-leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us] On Behalf Of tripspud Sent: Thursday, September 04, 2003 12:54 AM To: leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us Subject: Re: [Leica] Rhozinkeh Hi, Give me a break. Guns are way more dangerous/deadly than knifes or skillets. Brothers accidently shot brothers with guns. People have shot there own hand or foot. Nobody accidently staps their hand. rich - -- To unsubscribe, see http://mejac.palo-alto.ca.us/leica-users/unsub.html
