That makes Laphroig with water, which is an OK way to drink it.

It does not make it Lagavulin with water. As well say Aberlour 
a'bunadh with water substitutes for  Glenrothes. Or a zinfandel from 
California substitutes for a primitivo from Italy. They are different.
