Good advice, my R4SP had this problem last year, and a quick call to Leica
in NJ and they sent me a replacement window foam gasket.

You should make sure foams (especially those in the backcover to shield
light) are in good shape. One way to do this is to run a figure through and
make sure nothing sticks to your finger.
