From the description of the winner, I do not think it to be comparable to Lagavulin, as they said it had a slight taste of peat. I demand a Scotch that is heavily peated and is "iodiney". Just my personal taste. I hope that only a few would agree with me, so as to not increase the demand. Islay whiskys are expensive enough as it is.
