So why not put a battery in it? Seems like the logical approach.

Wonder if anyone knows if the Leica MP will fire a flash light mount on it
without a battery in the battery compartment? I know the M6TTL would need a
battery to fire a flash. This battery requirement on the M6TTL is really
getting me down. I got cut out in the middle of a session. Anyway thanks in
advance for your input.
