And what the M cameras have going for them is that since the demise of the Nikon SP and the Contax, they have been unique - the only truly professional rangefinder cameras; they have been the only game in town. This new Digiloot is hardly the only game in town....And there is nothing in its specs to suggest that it offers anything new; quite the contrary. As to the cards - Putting all ones image eggs in a single 4Gig basket is a bit like sky diving without a parachute.... Just get a 1 gig card,...or 512s for that matter... - -----Original Message----- From: owner-leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us [mailto:owner-leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us] On Behalf Of jose usoz Sent: Tuesday, December 02, 2003 4:50 PM To: leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us Subject: Re: [Leica] The LEICA DIGILUX 2 is announced On Tue, 2 Dec 2003 15:10:29 -0500 "B. At 64 mg?! When > there are 4 GIG cards available Leica is calling 64 mg "extra large." 64 MB is a ridiculous storage card, more if you take advantage of format RAW . The 4 GB cards are extra-expensives in CompactFlash, I do not know if they exist in SD format. But the SD in 512 MB are cheap. un saludo, jose. - -- Jose Usoz / Cromosfera http://www.cromosfera.com - -- To unsubscribe, see http://mejac.palo-alto.ca.us/leica-users/unsub.html - -- To unsubscribe, see http://mejac.palo-alto.ca.us/leica-users/unsub.html
