That Martin today, assuming that it was, say, a D28, would be worth probably 3-4 times what you would have paid for it, wile the Gibson would still go for less than the Martin cost then...and the Harmony? (Loud guffaw!)... On the other hand, that Digilux II a year from now will be worth- as all of you who have so loudly trashed digital cameras and digital images have been writing for at least the last 18 month - next to nothing..because it is already underwhelming today, on the day of its birth announcement.... - -----Original Message----- From: owner-leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us [mailto:owner-leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us] On Behalf Of Jon Sent: Tuesday, December 02, 2003 9:00 PM To: leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us Subject: Re: [Leica] The LEICA DIGILUX 2 is announced "Okey, dokey. "Flashback" 1966 - Lyon & Healy music store downtown Chicago.....A teenage girl and her dad are looking at guitars....She looks at the Harmony guitars $25-$75, Then at the Gibson $75-$200 and finally at the Martin $400-$1000...
