The Turnly photos of the "killing field" on the road out of Kuwait stand as prime examples of the Gulf War I. They demonstrate the horrendous frightfulness of modern weaponry unleashed against the technology of a previous generation.

There are many photos that really document Vietnam. Korea? Nothing leaps to mind.
