Tina's not available right now but I believe she routinely puts negs in
slide mounts; I'm not sure if it's B&W negs or C41.  As long as you don't
need to see or scan the edges covered by the slide mount, I don't see why it
shouldn't be done.  I've put a few C41 negs in slide mounts and I much
prefer handling the mount than the neg.
