Then 30 minutes on low heat in the dryer and they should be 'good as new.' :-) - -----Original Message----- From: owner-leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us [mailto:owner-leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us] On Behalf Of David Young Sent: Wednesday, January 14, 2004 12:38 PM To: leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us Subject: [Leica] Slide-cleaning question All: I have given myself the job of sorting and organizing my old slides for the 1960's. And I am surprised how few show any signs of fading - less than one in a hundred - despite being thrown in carousel trays and simply left for most of the last 40 years! However, most have acquired a 'patina' of dust that won't come off with a camel's hair brush and compressed air. Any ideas on how I might wash & dry 'em? Many thanks. - ---------- David Young | The LHSA Spring Shoot - Victoria, B.C. Victoria, | April 23 thru 25th, 2004. CANADA. | Join the LHSA and join in the fun!
