We wound up staying at this little place on Lido Island. You can take a water bus directly to Lido from the airport. To get to Venice you also take a water bus from Lido, about 10 minutes or so. Lido is a small place, quiet and friendly, a good place to hide from the hustle and bustle of Venice. The hotel is quite small and very friendly. http://www.villalbertina.com/uk/rooms.htm Leo On Jan 21, 2004, at 10:03 PM, Howard Cummer wrote: > Hi Luggers, > I have been reading the digest in the archives to keep up with the > conversations in LUG land and this being the Chinese New Year holiday > in Hong Kong have decided to subscribe again so as to keep up with the > info flow.
