Leicavit MP

  I think one of the most under appreciated devices that Leica makes is 
the Leicavit. So much more elegant than a motor and nearly as fast...it 
stays with the all mechanical esthetic we love about our fair M cameras. 
(he waxes on...)

With the smoothest sliding of any winder I have tried (60's MP winder, 
Canon IV Vit, Abrahamsson, Cosina, Scnoo's and Syoom's, and I'm sure I'm 
forgetting a few) it is silky mechanics that provide an important 
function for those who are left eyed. (Keeping the film advance lever 
out of your right eye!)

  At $995 New, USA they are not cheap ...but we also have a few import 
ones left over at $725 in black paint and chrome that will soon be gone 
as the new Leica price raises take effect. If you have been waiting to 
get this one, I wouldn't wait any longer as the Euro is strong and 
supply of this at the old price will soon be all gone
