Spanish trains are very nice, especially the high-speed AVE trains that connect the major cities at speeds up to 300 km/h. All the pictures for this week were taken during a 1-hour period at the Puerta Atocha train station in Madrid, while I was waiting for my train to Seville. First, a couple saying a long goodbye on the platform: http://www.wajsmanphoto.com/2004_5.jpg Another couple waiting for their train in the main hall: http://www.wajsmanphoto.com/2004_5alt1.jpg The station is quite impressive, with an indoor tropical garden, and on this occasion a photo exhibition: http://www.wajsmanphoto.com/2004_5alt2.jpg The exhibition consisted of large colour prints, taken on various trains in Spain: http://www.wajsmanphoto.com/2004_5alt3.jpg http://www.wajsmanphoto.com/2004_5alt4.jpg The three B&W shots taken with a Leica CL, 40mm Rokkor, on Tri-X. The two colour pictures also CL, 40mm Summicron, Fuji Provia 400F. The complete PAW index is at: http://www.wajsmanphoto.com/indexpaw2004.htm and as always, comments are welcome and appreciated.
