How's that for paranoia? The new batteries last much longer (shelf life) than the old ones, don't leak stuff all over, and are cheaper from B&H than the local stores. I bought "General Brand", which ended up being repackaged Duracells. No expiration date on the new packaging, so I'm relying on B&H's integrity and assuming that they aren't expired. I ended up taping plastic wrapped, spare batteries to the camera straps of my M6TTL and M7. They are so small I never notice them, until the moment I need them. I've found this system to be the best insurance against Murphy's law which states that your spare batteries will always be in the bag you didn't bring that day!
