Both are very sharp and can yield very dramatic images. The 15mm f/3.5 is also a great lens. It is tricky to use well but when you find the right subject the results are breathtaking. ( I know that there is a new 15mm but I have not had the opportunity to shoot with it.) You may laugh but he 250 f/4 has never let me down. I don't know what it is about this lens, the unusual length (it is the only 250mm prime that I know off) or the way it handles, I always seem to get a little more out of the picture than I though was there.
