Your picture suffers from a problem that also afflicted several of my pictures from such events: too much going on in the frame. For me, the most interesting feature might be the guy carrying a chair, but he is also just about to leave the frame. I think that if you made him the central point of interest and used a wider aperture to blur the background a bit, you would have a better image.
