Pepsodent jingle of the 1950s. I have never been successful in restoring faded Kodacolor or Anscocolor prints to their pristine glory without an inordinate amount of handwork in Photoshop. If you want to avoid this effort, I suggest you save a scan in grayscale and try to make the best B&W picture you can.
