Nice family photos. As you become more familiar with the camera, 
they'll improve.

One suggestion would be to think about using B&W film. It removes one 
variable (color) and lets you focus on what's important. If you don't 
have access to a darkroom, try the new C-41 B&W films like Kodak 400 
TCN.  They're quite nice. With a standard photoprocessor, they'll 
come out sepia colored, which only adds to the charm.
