Subject: RE: [Leica] CM vs Minilux

In 2003, I made 2 trips across Spain on the Camino de
Santiago, a historic 525 mile pilgrimage route. I
carried a M6 and 35mm lens on the first trip and a
Minilux on the second trip using ISO 100 speed
reversal film on both occasions.
I kept 95% of the film exposed with the M6 and about
35% of the film exposed with the Minilux. This
editing experience convinced me that fully automated
cameras like the Minilux are better suited for use
with wide exposure latitude color negative films. In
the future , I will use the M6 when I intend to
produce slides for travel photography programs despite
the convenience that the point and shoot cameras
offer.
