Subject: [Leica] tribute website for sal

Even more to the point, I hope that Sal made some provision for preserving
his images--a collection that stretches back more than three decades. I
know that he was involved with the Bulletin archives with Temple University;
his extensive collection of political images might be appropriate to the
Annenberg School for Communication. Either way, the stuff could remain in
Philadelphia.

It would be wonderful if the recipient institution had a Sal DiMarco
photojournalism scholarship--THAT would be an ideal spot for remembering the
man and his work.

does anyone know if sal had a favorite charity or cause? perhaps we
could make a collective donation in honor of his memory.

"People say 'Iraq had the fourth largest army in the world.' Yeah,
maybe, but you know what, after the first 3 largest armies, there's a
REAL big drop-off. The Hare Krishnas are the 5th largest army in the
world, and they've already got all our airports."
