This is certainly what Leica rangefinder is all about.
Compactness.
A Leica rangefinder camera bag for all rights should be a third the size of
a normal SLR bag.
Certainly half the height.
And they are. The bags which are sold as "Leica bags".

The average Leica M lens is a third the size of the average SLR lens.
Maybe a forth.

But it makes us want to bring more gear. More items.
Makes us greedy. Filled with above average avarice!

Admittedly in SLR especially in digital you could go the route of just bring
along a normal zoom and or wide zoom. Or zoom zoom.

But we should not be in the position of having to worry about space if we
were doing Leica rangefinder.

I am on this trip because I'm wanting to bring other camera systems along
with me on top of my Leica m's. Like a twin lens Rolleiflex.

Or a speed graphic mini with a 6x9 roll film back.

Or a calumet Cambo NX with 6x9 and or 6x12 roll film back.

Dreams.

I'd have to drive the whole way and back.
