Subject: [Leica] 35 Summilux with eyes question

Can the eyes on a 35 Summilux ( or Summicron) be easily removed for lower
weight and non-widened view on a M6?  What is involved in the removal?
Note.. this would be a temporary removal.  I want to be able to get the lens
back to its original condition in the future.
