I didn't dare take it into the New Hampshire mountains in the winter for fear the shutter noise would start an avalanche. :-) A friend of mine loaned me a 500 DTL when I was a kid in Massachusetts, age 16 or 17. Fooling with that camera and developing a few rolls of my own B&W was what really hooked me on photography. I ended up buying a Canon TL. A few months later I discovered Leica, sold the Canon, bought a used M2, and The Rest Is History. --Peter At 03:19 PM 11/7/04 -0800, you wrote: >From: "Jeffery Smith" <jls@runbox.com> >Subject: RE: [Leica] how old are u - 19 >To: "'Leica Users Group'" <lug@leica-users.org> >Message-ID: <001701c4c51d$919b8b30$5540e344@newukolbqveo9i> >Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" > >Dang!
