I think very difficult to run this history in our days, except - as you say - if it is a Hermes boutique, anyway if your friend is capable to sell like this, let me know his address it could be an excellent sales man! All the best Luis Ripoll ? -----Mensaje original----- De: lug-bounces+luisripoll=telefonica.net@leica-users.org [mailto:lug-bounces+luisripoll=telefonica.net@leica-users.org] En nombre de Didier Ludwig Enviado el: mi?rcoles, 24 de noviembre de 2004 20:14 Para: Leica Users Group Asunto: RE: [Leica] Leica Noctilux 50mm f/1.0 Twenty years ago, I knew a furrier, who had told me a basically economic story from his fur coat boutique (when fur coats were'nt politically incorrect): They had a silver fox coat in the display for a very long time, and though they had reduced the price successively from sFr. 5500.- to 1100.-, nobody bought it. Then, more as for a joke, they added a 0 and offered it for 11'000.-. One day later it was sold. Question: What's the market price of this fur coat? And how much is it worth? :o) Didier PS: it was NOT a Hermes boutique >Yup, and that fool made it worth exactly $3,000. It may be stupid...much >about economics certainly is...but it is true. _______________________________________________ Leica Users Group.
