But Airbus makes planes that are more comfortable and their restrooms are vastly superior to those on the recent Boeing aircraft I have flown on. (I haven't been on a 777). I am not a fan of the way Airbus designs its flightcontrol system. As an ex-pilot I believe that the pilot has the right to ask the airframe to do what he needs to do, he's there, the design group who set the fly-by-wire parameters is not. Boeing sees it this way. Airbus does not, or at least didn't use to - you couldn't command the airframe past parameters set by the manufacturer. It's a very European design concept: we know best so don't try to over-ride what we do. But as a passenger, it's Airbus for me any day and it's one of many reasons I'm a big fan of JetBlue.
