It's making sure that the software is recent enough so that every part is talking to the whole. Then there is my bugbear, my image, made digitally, is encumbered with proprietary software that I just paid a fee to use, not own. Where does that address ownership sometime in the future, when a Michael Milken like thief figures out a way around the existing protections. Mind you, these protections are driven to benefit industry, and not the consumer. S.
