I have the chance to get an EOS-1Ds  from a fellow
photographer at a great price -- about the same as an
a la carte Leica M. I have all this Nikon SLR gear I
could part with to help make the switch less painful.

Is the 11 megapixel Canon likely to keep a fanatical
filmie like me satisfied for the next several years?

Or should I get one of these so as not to shatter
