I just switched on the TV and news is breaking of a disastrous earthquake in 
SE 
Asia, thousands killed, 5th largest earthquake ever, 8.9 Richter on the 
seabed 
close to Sumatra. Tsunamis have caused havoc in Sri Lanka and Thailand.

My thoughts are now far from Christmas - My sympathy goes out to the 
suffering
and the bereaved.
