It's one of the buildings at the Fernald School, in Waltham MA, which
figured large in the American eugenics story, and is where the "state
boys" were kept and "rebelled." The publisher wanted a foreboding shot,
showing something of the architecture of a building. I went there on a
brilliant day, and nothing was working, and then storm clouds swept
over, and ...

with some significance to the story?  What were the specs you were
