If you buy something on the order of a 200 GB hard drive you pay less than $1/GB which is EXTREMELY cost effective with CD-Rs and I'll bet just as archival. Perhaps more so. It has been a LONG time since I've had a hard drive fail whereas I have CD failures. Adam
