Subject: [Leica] are you horizontal, vertical, or mixed?

Funny - This is such a great example of how we all have our own
approaches - the closer I am, the more likely it is the image will be
horizontal in order to include more of the environment, while if I pull
back, I may then use a somewhat longer lens and shoot vertically. :-)

Looking over the body of my work I see that...I'm neither. I seem to
shift back and forth.

But...for up close portraits I'm almost always vertical while my
horizontal images are more pulled back, using background and depth to
add to the portrait.

But not always, just a trend.

And sometimes I shoot where I know I'm going to crop the image to be
square because it suits the composition.
