I'm beginning to wonder if, along with its perfectly legit functions,
Ebay hasn't unwittingly become a primary "fence" for the digital age...

Right, Sal.  I read about the illegal sales, too, but that was an 
individual putting the stolen photos up for sale on Ebay.  This looks 
legitimate, which makes it even worse.
